When IONiC announced they were moving to Melbourne everyone at Payne Street Records agrees that a tremour of excitement pulsed down Brunswick Street.
Since their arrival they lads have been providing Melbournians with the type of entertainment they so adore: eclectic electro ass-shakin' love.
Sporting samplers, decks, laptops, guitars and other little boxes containing we know not what, IONiC fly through a fine landscape of textured, gritty beats, uplifting tunes and humorous samples. These boys will put the bounce back in your pants.
Here at PSR, we feel honored to have signed these two time winners of the ABC Newcastle Music Awards for 'best electronic act', and reckon you'll love what you hear from them as much as we have.
